Questions
Does Streamit change anything in my Xero?
Not by itself. It reads your invoices, bills and reports to build the dashboard and forecast. It only writes to Xero when you choose to: for example, setting a planned pay date on a bill in the Pay Schedule, or, in the full app, sending a bill or timesheet you've approved.
How long does it take to set up?
A few minutes. Start the trial, connect Xero, and the dashboard and forecast build themselves in about a minute. Set your targets (or take the suggested ones) and you're done.
Is my data separate from other businesses?
Yes. Each business has its own database. Only the people you invite can see your figures, and you decide who can open the CEO pages.
I don't use Xero. Can I still use it?
Insights needs Xero for now. MYOB and QuickBooks are on the list. The full team app works without Xero.
Is the forecast financial advice?
No. It's an estimate built from your own Xero figures and the settings you choose. Check big decisions with your accountant.
What happens after the trial?
Choose a plan to keep going. If you don't, Streamit pauses and your data is kept for 30 days so you can come back or download it, then it's deleted. Nothing is charged during the trial.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from Billing. Your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for. No lock-in contract.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Streamit runs on any phone, tablet or computer and adds to the home screen like an app.
